Join Nothing Gold for our second concert as we explore themes of nature and ephemeral beauty. This concert features the premiere of a 3-piece set, also called Like A Petal, by San Francisco-based composer Nicholas Weininger, setting texts by Robert Frost (including the group’s namesake poem, Nothing Gold Can Stay), Sara Teasdale, and Edna St. Vincent Millay. It also features Ralph Vaughan Williams’ stunning, textural orchestral piece, re-set for eight voices + violin, The Lark Ascending.
